As one year ends and another one begins, the doubledave team takes a deep breath and reflects on their accomplishments made during 2006. Highlights include:
St. Rose Hospital, Hayward, CA – In our third year working with St. Rose Hospital, we expanded our scope to include staging and technical direction for the hospital’s Tent Week, a week-long event that features fundraising and donor and employee recognition. We have provided multimedia production and offsite meeting coordination for the hospital in previous years.
Sequoia Hospital, Redwood City, CA – A new client for doubledave, we are currently working on the Sequoia Hospital Employee Recognition event, producing a video and several multimedia animations.
Chiodo Art Development, Oakland, CA – After working with Chiodo to produce a fundraising/marketing video to benefit the "Remember Them" sculpture (the multimedia video was shown during an Oakland Metropolitan Business Chamber event while the Oakland East Bay Symphony played under the direction of Michael Morgan), we are teaming up once again to produce a documentary about the sculpture's creation and importance. The documentary, which will be called “The Making of Remember Them: Champions for Humanity” (for more information, visit www.remember-them.org), features interviews with such heavyweights as Maya Angelou and will be shown during the January 8, 2008 inauguration of incoming Oakland Mayor Ron Dellums.
Chabot Foundation, Hayward, CA – This is our second year partnering with the Chabot Foundation. After producing a marketing piece and television advertisement for them in 2005, we created another television advertisement and a 10-minute video, which recognized two of the foundation's donors, for them in 2006.
doubledave music, Oakland, CA – doubledave proudly announces the launch of doubledave music, a uniquely special jazz label founded by doubledave Principals Dave Pistoni and David Tannenbaum. doubledave music is a tangible and very natural expression of the two Daves' lifelong love of jazz. And, a dream come true. Its mission: to provide top jazz artists the opportunity and encouragement to explore their imaginations and give free reign to their musical artistry.
